Pastor - Greg Kedrovsky
Greg was ordained by and sent out from the Kansas City Baptist Temple in August of 1995. He and his wife Sue began their ministry by spending approximately two years in Bogotá, Colombia, where they learned the language and culture under the ministry of "La Biblia Dice" church.
God then opened the door for them to move to San José, Costa Rica, and minister at Emanuel Baptist Church. After five years at Emanuel developing Bible Institute curriculum and building the discipleship ministry, God allowed them to start Eastside Church on the opposite side of town in March of 2002.
In December 2010, at the request of their sending church, Greg and his family returned from the mission field. Greg left Eastside Church in the very gifted and capable hands of three pastors and several more leaders, all of which were trained for the ministry at Eastside. Greg, still confident that God wanted to use him in full-time, vocational ministry as a pastor-teacher, started Harvest Baptist Church in southern Johnson County, Kansas, on April 10, 2011.
Greg is a former Marine, and he has a BSBA in Accounting from Central Missouri State Univerity and an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Luther Rice Seminary. Because of his move back to the States, and the time required to plant a church, he has had to postpone the completion of his Master of Divinity (with languages) at Columbia Evangelical Seminary (distance study). He was working on the MDiv in preparation for a Doctor of Theology (ThD; Systematic Theology and Apologetics) and a Doctor of Ministry (DMin; Local Church Ministries).
Greg and Sue have been married since 1991 and have three children, Alex, Kevin and Rebeka.
Because Harvest Baptist Church continues to grow, Greg is bi-vocational and does not receive a salary from the church at this time.
