The Books of Transition: Acts (Part 3)

We continued our study of the Book of Acts this Wednesday. We at looking specifically at the transition taking place in Acts and the implications that has on our right understanding of the content of the book.

This week's focus was mostly on Act 2 and a key prophey of "end times revival" mentioned by Peter as he quoted Joel 2. But, we also moved forward in the book and go into the major portion dealing with the shift in focus from Israel to the Church (Acts 8-9).

The Books of Transition: Acts (Part 2)

The second of two parts: A brief overview of Acts and the transition that occurs in that book (from Israel to the Church, from the Jews to the Gentiles).

In this lesson we touch on several unbiblical experiences that manifest themselves in modern day churches that refuse to believe (in practice) in the sufficiency of Scripture: tongues, dreams, visions, direction revelation, etc.
